Carolyn Graham, ND
, was an RN for 35 years before becoming a naturopathic physician. She recognized that there was a place for natural medicine and that natural medicines can easily and successfully complement conventional therapies. She was an Intensive Care Unit nurse, an emergency flight nurse, as well as an IV nurse. She recently completed the year-long Environmental Medicine training offered by Walter Crinion, ND. Dr. Graham has extensive experience with detoxification, chelation, hydrotherapy, and many other therapies. Dr. Graham graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine. Alice Bell, ND
, has an MS in Human Nutrition in addition to a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine where she teaches and supervises students in the naturopathic clinic. Her past experience includes practicing and teaching Sivananda yoga (and meditation), holistic health counseling, and as an adjunct professor of anatomy and physiology at Fairfield University. Eleonore M. Herschberger, MSAc, ND, RN
Dr. Eleonore Herschberger is a Naturopathic Physician licensed in the State of Connecticut, and has been a practitioner of homeopathy for the past 20 years. She completed a Master’s degree in Acupuncture in 2008, and incorporates the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine into her private practice. She treats acute and chronic cconditions using a variety of methods, including Naturopathic medicine, Classical Homeopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Herschberger has been a member of the Faculty at the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport since 1999, and has served as Clinic Director and as the Associate Dean of Academics for the Naturopathic Medicine program. Currently she is a Senior Lecturer, teaching homeopathy and oriental medicine in the classroom and supervising homeopathy shifts at UB Clinics. Her entrance into the field of healthcare began with a career in nursing, followed by a return to school to complete her ND degree at National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR. Brenda Peterson
, a Health Supportive Chef, has been on a life-long quest for health sustaining nutritional eating that began with her own family. Brenda graduated from The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As a Health Supportive Chef, she caters to a person’s health needs, taking into account medical conditions and food allergies. She will meet with you, design a plan for your individual needs, and prepare the food. She can also teach you the skills needed to prepare your own healthful meals. Brenda has taken courses in nutrition and participated in groups promoting organic foods and sustainability. Her past experience includes owning and operating a health food store, developing and managing an organic deli, developing and implementing a healthy snack program for children, and whole foods cooking classes for adults. Matthew Cap
, LMT, graduated from the Branford Hall Career Institute and is a licensed massage therapist. Matt specializes in Swedish massage, shiatsu, effleurage, deep tissue, reciprocal inhibition technique, thai massage, hot stone, and self-created, individualized techniques. Matt trained in the healing arts in Florida with Bobbie Aduna, a well known acupuncturist and massage therapist, and with Gary Null, renowned in the health world as an expert in nutrition. Matt designs his sessions based on his client’s individual needs. He uses different massage modalities to address problem areas, relieve stress and tension, and promote relaxation. Matt believes in addressing the mind, body, and spirit, and has a passion for learning new things relating to natural well being and equilibrium.
